What industries does the resume template suit?
The Rescue my Resume template is best practice for the Australian and New Zealand professional job market and is suitable for all sectors and job types. (Corporate sector, Government/Public sector, Not-for-Profit sector.)
[I have also included a teaching and medical doctor template, as these differ slightly.]
There are different template colours to choose from, and as it's a Microsoft Word document it's easy to amend to suit your design preferences.

What format are the templates?
All the templates are Microsoft Word documents, so they are easy to update and tailor moving forward. You can PDF your documents once you are ready to submit.​

Is the Resume Template ATS compliant?
Yes, the resume format is ATS (applicant tracking system/software) compliant. It should get through ATS as long as you include keywords from the job position description in your resume - which I teach you to do in the program.

Can I just buy the resume template without the instructions and support?
Yes, you can purchase the Resume Template here. Please note it only includes high level written instructions and there is no opportunity to seek feedback or ask questions.

Does the program include a cover letter template?
Yes, there are multiple cover letter templates included, along with detailed instructions on how to complete them.

How long do I have access to the program for?
365 days from date of purchase. And you can download the templates and workbooks for use at a later date.

How long will it take me to update my resume, letter and LinkedIn?
This will depend on the state of your current resume, letter and LinkedIn profile. It does take a bit of work to get your resume up to standard, but if you follow my lessons step-by-step it will be easy. I also teach you to tailor your application for different roles.
Some people have powered through the program and updated their resume, letter and LinkedIn in a weekend, but I estimate it takes about one week for most people to work through all the lessons and modules.

What if I need extra help writing my resume?
You can get extra assistance from Emma by purchasing an add-on editing Zoom call. This can be added on later from within the program for $247.
What happens in an Editing Zoom Call?
During this one hour Zoom call we can workshop the content of your newly drafted resume (after you have worked through the program), with particular attention to improving the front page of the resume.
Emma will share screen and live edit your document, improving language, content and formatting.
